Finding it Hard to get a Job Empty Re: Finding it Hard to get a Job

Post by Barbie Thu Jun 24, 2010 10:07 am

i always found it REALLY hard to get a job, infact so hard i gave up and started up my own business instead lol.

the best thing to do is to keep sending out as many CVs and application forms as you can, chase people up if u don't hear back very soon... it shows ur interested then, apply for anything.. even if it's not what you want to do.. it'll give u some experience and goodluck Smile xxx

yip totally agree with you!

And because there's so many people applying for each post they think they can offer you less money!

I'm trying to keep my head down and get my exams so by time the economy picks up again I'll be in better position.

Oh that's fab!

I started doing course in social care but there was an awful lot of coursework so I left. I soooo regret it now tho.

Finding it Hard to get a Job Empty Re: Finding it Hard to get a Job

Post by MichelleMcCann Thu Jun 24, 2010 1:07 pm

Get your c.v sorted. Make sure its up to date and as all your achievements, work expierence on it. Leave it in to all shops, pubs, restraunts, where ever you want and just ask is there any jobs coming up, if not then leave in the c.v incase any jobs do come up.

If you really can't get a job. Ask somewhere to take you for a week or two or work expierence. Then you can add that into your c.v and more likely of getting a job than before. You can then put that person has a referee so other people can refer back to them.

Good luck
